Kiyo Anne Fujimoto, 86, of Downey, California, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022.

Kiyo was born on April 28, 1936 to Frank and Hisa Ishii in Long Beach, California. After Kiyo graduated from Polytechnic High School in Long Beach in 1954, she went on to earn degrees in Economics and Political Science at Stanford University.

Kiyo married Sumifusa Fujimoto in 1958 and had one son, Frank.

After being a long-time active member of the Downey PTA, Kiyo joined other family as owners of Lyon Supply, which they ran for 26 years until 2016. In 2001 the store joined the iAMart purchasing group where Kiyo actively participated in the growth of the organization over the next 15 years. She regularly attend art materials trade shows, becoming a welcome friend to many and making Lyon Supply a well-known and respected retailer.

Kiyo enjoyed hosting events at her home, fishing with Sumi, and going on road trips to visit Frank and his family.

Kiyo is survived by husband Sumifusa, son Frank (married to Melody Winkle), grandson Kellen Frodelius-Fujimoto (married to Noël), grandson Tynor, and sister Frances Lyon.
