Project 366, December 2016

December brought cold weather and a bit of travel, which made for good opportunities for photos for the last month of the year. The rest of the month's pictures are on the December page.

My favorite photo of December was of the Union Bay Natural Area.

The sky and clouds were just right, and the not-quite symmetric reflection adds interest. The bird was pure luck.

Another photo I liked was City Hall reflected, taken in Downtown Los Angeles. Again, the sky was cooperating and the big block of sky does a good job of balancing the trees and building.

I took a lot of photos of the Seattle Great Wheel one night, and had a lot to choose from. This one seemed well-balanced and had a pleasing exposure. I also like how you can see that the lighting is isn't continuous, but has distinct on and off periods.

You can see the rest of the month's photos on the December page.
